— The Beginning
Built EtherHub with my co-founder from 0 to 10k+ users. We have no funding, 100% bootstrapped. It's been an amazing journey, so let me tell you more about it.
I started working on EtherHub in July 2025, and in August I was flying from Brazil to NYC for ETHGlobal, which, if you don't know, is the biggest ETH hackathon.
That was my ticket to immerse myself and learn all about the crypto community: who they are, what they want, but especially what they don't stand.
— The Hackathon
The other thing is, I really don't like networking. Not even the word.
What I like is helping people, so a hackathon was the perfect thing to get me out there.
The result was that my team was one of the hackathon winners with ETHJobs, I got to show EtherHub to potential users while it was still just a static app, got really honest feedback in real time, and got to apply for EtherHub to be part of ETHGlobal Spotlight, which was accepted later on.
I went from barely knowing crypto at all to being part of the community. It was really fun.
I also got to distribute some Brazilian coffee beans with the EtherHub brand on it, so people could drink coffee while thinking of us.
— The Growth
In November, EtherHub had a booth at ETHGlobal Argentina. We got to talk to so many people, get feedback, and adjust the product to our audience. People got to test it, play games with us, and we distributed cool swag with our brand.
Those connections helped us acquire our user base.
— The Role
So what do I do at EtherHub?
Anything but code the app.
Events, 1:1s with users, nannying our beta testers, connecting with platforms, making tons of videos to spread the word about EtherHub, and just really having fun with it.
Having an app and getting to do it all is really the generalist work that I love.
I get to be so many things that I couldn't be inside my previous corporate box.
